Raeymakers, Dries
Dries Raeymakers is associate professor of Early Modern History at Radboud University. His research focuses on diplomacy, court culture and political communication in the seventeenth-century Habsburg world, with particular attention to the role of ambassadors at court. He is the author of One Foot in the Palace. The Habsburg Court of Brussels and the Politics of Access in the Reign of Albert and Isabella, 1598–1621 (2013).
