New call for applications for the curatorial fellowship funded by the CSA at the Meadows Museum

The call for applications will open soon for the predoctoral curatorial fellowship at the Meadows Museum, SMU in Dallas (Texas) for 2026–27. The CSA, which funds this fellowship, has a long track record of collaborating with the CEEH and the Meadows Museum. Since organising the exhibition The Lost Manuscripts from the Sistine Chapel. An Epic Journey from Rome to Toledo (2011), it has sponsored the catalogues Zurbarán: Jacob and His Twelve Sons (2017) and Alonso Berruguete: First Sculptor of Renaissance Spain (2019). Both the latter and Sorolla in America. Friends and Patrons (2015) have won the Eleanor Tufts Book Award.
The fellowship includes a stipend for research, travel, and professional development; active participation in the organization of exhibitions and the management of the permanent collection; opportunities to develop career skills such as grant management, public speaking, program development, and donor relations; and more.
Application: 1 October – 1 December 2025
