Almudena Pérez de Tudela, who holds a PhD from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, is affiliated with Patrimonio Nacional and works as a curator at El Escorial. Her scholarship focuses on the Spanish Habsburg court, especially ceremonial practices, collecting and how material culture expressed dynastic identity. She has contributed to major collaborative projects on court studies and royal collections. She is the autor of Los inventarios de Doña Juana de Austria, princesa de Portugal (1535–1573) (2017).
