Quirós Rosado, Roberto

Roberto Quirós Rosado holds an international doctorate in Modern History from the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid. His main lines of research are focused on the political configuration of the monarchy of Charles III/VI of Habsburg in Italy during the War of the Spanish Succession and the socioeconomic and cultural idiosyncrasy of Castilian, Navarrese, and Lombard businessmen of the Modern Age. Prominent among his publications are Corte y redes de poder en la monarquía de Carlos VI: el conde Quirós (c. 1685–1757) (2013) and a number of collective works coordinated with Cristina Bravo Lozano: En tierra de confluencias. Italia y la monarquía de España, siglos XVI–XVIII (2013), Los hilos de Penélope. Lealtad y fidelidades en la monarquía de España, 1648–1714 (2015), and Antemurales de la fe. Conflictividad confesional en la monarquía de los Habsburgo, 1516–1714 (2015, with Pedro García Martín).
