Joris Snaet holds a PhD in History and is affiliated to KU Leuven. His research focuses on governance structures, bureaucratic practices and the functioning of political institutions under Habsburg rule. He has contributed to collaborative projects on state formation and administrative culture, and contributed to scholarly volumes and journals on early modern administration and institutional development.
