Zorn. Recorrer el mundo, pintar la tierra ends, but its catalogue remains
The exhibition, curated by Markus Bertsch and Casilda Ybarra Satrústegui, has offered an insight into the work of the Swedish painter Anders Zorn. From its opening at Fundación Mapfre in Madrid last February to its closure yesterday, the show has received almost 100,000 visitors. The accompanying catalogue – jointly published by the CEEH, the Fundación Mapfre and the Hamburger Kunsthalle – presents a comprehensive overview of his drawings, paintings and engravings, now stands as a reference work on Zorn and its artistic relationship with Spain.
