Tess Knighton is an ICREA research professor affiliated to the Institució Milà i Fontanals–CSIC in Barcelona. She is also an emeritus fellow of Clare College, Cambridge, and a series editor of Studies in Medieval and Renaissance Music. Between 1993 and 2009 she was editor of Early Music. Her research covers various aspects of music and culture in late medieval and early modern Iberian World and she has published widely in this area.
