Guy Lazure, who holds a PhD in Modern History from Johns Hopkins University, is associate professor at the University of Windsor, Canada. He has devoted many studies and lectures to Spain and Europe of the Modern Age, as well as to cultural history, libraries, and the transmission of knowledge in that period.
