Wunder, Amanda

Amanda Wunder, a professor in the History Department at Lehman College, CUNY,  received a PhD in History from Princeton University. She has been a Fulbright scholar in Spain (1999-2000) and was a senior fellow in the Department of European Sculpture and Decorative Arts at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (2005-2006). Her research focuses on the art and culture of early modern Spain, with particular interest in the artistic and social transformations in Seville from 1503 to 1717. She is currently working on textiles, tailoring, and the meaning of clothes in Imperial Spain.
